COmputational Modelling of Biological dYnamics and biological Engineering
This is the homepage of the COMBYNE lab, led by Dr Roman Bauer at the University of Surrey (UK).
The COMBYNE lab is a highly interdisciplinary research lab that works in Computational Biology. We design and employ computational models to better understand biological systems, such as the brain. Ultimately, we aim to leverage the gained insights for a longer and healthier life, as well as nature-inspired technologies.
We are part of the Nature Inspired Computing and Engineering (NICE) research group at the Computer Science Research Centre. Dr Bauer is Head of the NICE group, and more information on NICE is available here.
